Dr. Samuel of cross-beam Sheppard (* 1923; "† 6 April 1970) was an American physician and victim of a famous judicial error.

1954 he was condemned for the murder at its pregnant women woman, although he indicated that a burglar of the authors was. After 10 years in the prison the judgement was waived. The TV serial on the escape and the film of the same name are based loosely on its history.
