Salomon (also Solomon or Schlomo) Morel (* 15 November 1919 in Grabowo, Poland) was from February to November 1945 a commander of the Polish KZ Zgoda in Swietochlowice in the former Upper Silesia (at that time placed under Polish administration, today part of Poland) and member of the stalinistischen secret police Urzad Bezpieczenstwa. It should be allegedly responsible for the murder of more than 1,500 catches German oberschlesischen civilians, who had remained at present to driving the German population out first still in their residences, in addition, for murders at Polish civilian population.

When one had become attentive to it, Morel went 1994 to Israel. It is looked for by the Polish government because of war crimes and crimes against the humanity. Poland demanded 1998 and 2005 its distribution, which was refused however by Israel. Since 1996 a criminal procedure runs in Poland against it.

The journalist John bag, even Jewish origin, describes the case in its book "eye around eye", which numerous pouring and testimonies contains, when revenge of a Jew for it the wrong angetane during the Nazi period (murder of his parents) complains and the acts, those one Morel accused, as its revenge at innocent ones on.

Bag was criticized, it spreads in its book Antisemitismus. Thus also the discussion of the events points to Poland that it concerned less with the events an affair between Germans and Jews, but between Germans and Poland.

It is not possible however to make a final classification of the case as long as there is no complete investigation with locking court decision in this thing, so that future developments in this affair are to be been waiting.
