Saganaki (also or Saganiaki, gr. a hors-d'oeuvre is in the Greek kitchen. Is manufactured Saganaki from a panierten disk of a semisolid to firm sheep and/or goat milk cheese (e.g. from Kephalotiri, or also v.a. in Suedgrichenland from Feta). The cheese is roasted on the grill and served with salad, lemon disks and weissbrot.
If the cheese is wound in aluminum foil, then it can be refined with olive oil and Peperoni.
The used cheese does not melt, the disk remains on the grill in its original form.
The taste is very heartful.
