A safety management is a security authority IITH instance. 9 safety managements, i.e. one exist per Land of the Federal Republic, with seat in the respective state capital in Austria.

At the point of a safety management the safety director stands. With provision of the safety administration are it the police force command and its determined internal arrangements directly subordinated.

The Federal Minister for inside has to order the safety director in agreement with the national captain.
