The Ruhegehalt is the old-age pension of an official (official supply).
Among other things the official supply ranks among the age precaution systems beside legal pension, auxiliary supply of the public service operational age precaution, private precaution (among other things Riester systems)
The height of the Ruhegehalts is regulated in the official supplying law.
The Ruhegehalt of an official amounts to a portion of paying obtained last and differs thereby in principle of other age precaution systems, with which the entire process of the Erwerbsbiografie for the height of the claim is relevant usually. The difference is as he sounds practically not as large, since the Erwerbsbiografien of officials, which and height of paying concern continuity, runs usually very regularly and comparably. One "sudden "increase of paying before the retirement does not occur briefly practically.
Not all officials get an official supply. If a civil servant separates in former times as 2 years before reaching the retirement from his service relationship, he does not receive a Ruhegehalt, but in the legal old age pension insurance (GRV) is insured for a larger amount. (Exception: Separate because of acquisition reduction)
This is the portion of the last (rest-contentable) service purchases, which are disbursed as Ruhegehalt. The quiescent content set amounts to maximally 71.75% for 40 rest-contentable years, at least however 35% and rises proportionally at the rest-contentable time (thus scarce 1.8% per year). There are still exceptions, in those up to 75% quiescent content set comes off (concerning persons, who were already in the dec. 1991 officials). Among the former Federal Ministers only Hans Dietrich Genscher gets the highest sentence, because he led nearly 23 years long first the Federal Ministry of the Interior and then the Foreign Office.
In such a way determined Ruhegehalt is not lowered however in few cases by the following regulation: Even if the officials have requirement on a legal pension, then the obtained Ruhegehalt may exceed the GRV plus not the maximally attainable Ruhegehalt (maximum quiescent content set). One ensures thus that officials do not take the money doubly ""can. (Par. 55 BeamtVG)
This consists not only of the times as a civil servant, but also out up to 36 training months, resistance/civil service time and a portion of the times of the occupation in the public service before entrance into bureaucracy. Thus thus someone, which becomes with 40 years a civil servant, knows the maximum quiescent content set before however for a long time in the public service worked, to quite reach.
