Rudolf Pringsheim (* 1821 (probably) in Breslau, Niederschlesien; "† 1901 in Berlin) were railway carrier in Upper Silesia.

Family

Pringsheim came of to a buyer family of Jewish descent and was even the son of a schlesischen manufacturer and landowner.

He married Paula German man.

Its son was a mathematics professor Dr. Alfred Pringsheim (1850-1941).

Life

1860 leased Pringsheim only the secondary lines, then also the main courses in Upper Silesia, on which the railway company was accomplished still with horses; Pringsheim had again abolished the first steam engines, which ran only for few years.

From now on it made its money as a oberschlesischer railroad agent, became manor and owner of coal pit.

Later it established itself than multi-millionaire according to rank in a "palace" in Berlin.
