Rudolf Seriousness Wolf (* 26. July 1831 in Magdeburg; "† 10 November 1912 in Magdeburg) was firm founder and Industrieller.

Life

Rudolf wolf was born as a son of a teacher of the Magdeburger of cathedral High School. Also wolf visited then this school, changed however later, because of its interest in technology and in particular mechanical engineering, to the material High School. 1847 he put the middle ripe one down.

1873 married wolf Ottilie Litzmann. The two oldest common sons Rudolf and max took over later the company.

Wolf engaged itself also outside of its enterprise. 1888 he was selected to the chairman of the VDI.

Still in the same year wolf suffered however an impact accumulation, which impaired its vocational activity heavily.

Honours

The technical university Berlin Charlottenburg lent the title honour for the sake of of a Dr. engineer to wolf. In later years the city Magdeburg it designated a road than Rudolf wolf road in honours.
