The tractor RS14 with the label name Famulus, of its drivers also jokeful "plum mash" mentioned, was built as a successor of the RS04 "favorite" from 1958 to 1967 in the VEB tractor work north living in the GDR. There was it in different basic remarks, as RS14/30L air-cooled and RS14/30W water-cooled (30PS), the RS14/36L air-cooled and RS14/36W water-cooled (36PS, also as all wheel), the RS14/46W only as water-cooled (46PS, also as all wheel), and RS14/40W only as water-cooled (40PS, also as all wheel), as well as the Famulus 60/RT330 (60PS, all wheel) with longer wheel base, than RS14/60 (starting from 1964). The Famulus 30 row had the Famulus 60 row already air-cooled or water-cooled 2-Zylinder (30 to 46PS), over water-cooled 3-Zylinder diesel engines. Due to the necessity for an efficient ratchet tractor the number of revolutions of the RS14/36W engines was increased by 1650U/Min to 2000U/Min with the RS14/46. The engine of the RS14/46 was not thermally overloaded with it and had a service life. Therefore the Motordrehzal of the RS14/46W was lowered with the successor the RS14/40W on 1800U/Min and the durability of the engine was increased clearly. Therefore the years of construction of the RS14/40W of models are younger than those the RS14/46W. The moreover one the RS14/40W under the technical designation RT325 was built.
