The main production hall with a front of Italian style and clock tower stands this very day and is now a component of a shopping center.

During the US civil war large numbers of items of the Enfield Rifle were sold from 1853 at the north and Southern States. Around 1890 approx. 2,000 rifles with all other equipment are to have been made per week.

RSAF belonged to 1987 starting from 1984 to Royal Ordnance - occasionally also owner of Heckler & cook - and to the British Aerospace was sold. The RSAF was closed afterwards however directly. One shifted the famous Pattern Room, in which by each manufactured model pieces were kept, to the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
