Rosemarie Nitribitt, actually Rosalie Marie Augusts Nitribitt (* 1 February 1933 in Mendig; "† 29 October 1957 in Frankfurt/Main) was probably a Frankfurt prostitute. Its murder at the end of of October 1957 excited large attention in the conventional Federal Republic of the 1950er years.
Despite numerous myths and medium reports, one novel and two films there are only little secured realizations over Nitribitts lives, since her only with its death celebrity attained and the arisen rumors as well as the sensation greed of the media the truth watered probably strongly.
It buildup, exactly like their two half sisters, first in conditions with their nut/mother in Ratingen and/or Duesseldorf; later it was instructed into a children's home. It was considered there as with difficulty trainable. Already as dte rodents it recognized its physical advantages and made its first money with prostitution. Later it pulled Frankfurt/Main, where it worked first than waitress and mannequin, after Koblenz, then soon however again than prostitutes. It gave itself trouble to hide their simple origin to learn in order to be able to put in a word in the elevated society, by trying English and French - according to time witnesses with little success. It created it nevertheless to win their male customers for itself. A suitor gave her an OPEL captain, at that time an unusual possession for a Mrs. Anfang of 20. Other suitors invited it into the vacation to the Mediterranean. Whether she earned really so much, as estimated after her death (up to 100.000 DM, an at that time inconceivably high sum), may be doubted; but it handed 190 SL with red leather seats for the famous black Mercedes, with which it excited attention in Frankfurt just as much as with its ausufernden celebrations in the Nobelgastronomie.
On 1 November 1957 it became dead with a place wound at the head and choking marks at the neck in its dwelling in the Stiftstr."Â 36 at the Eschenheimer tower found, probably about three days after their death. With the police determinations it turned out that Rosemarie Nitribitt contact had to important personalities. Since the murder case could not be cleared up, in the media the impression was aroused that certain circles from economics and politics sought to prevent the clearing-up.
Nitribitt on the north cemetery in Duesseldorf was buried.
The main suspect was a friend Nitribitts, the commercial agent Heinz Pohlmann. It came to the accusation, but the court acquitted Pohlmann in July 1960. One could recognize not with absolute certainty the complicity of the accused, was called it in the reason. The lawyer questioned the point of time of death, which the police had accepted, and it got right. Because the determining officials had forgotten to measure the exact temperature in the dwelling of the Nitribitt what for the determination of the accurate point of time of death would have been absolutely necessary. The public prosecutor's office did without a revision.
1958 documented Erich Kuby the case in its book "Rosemarie. The German miracle dearest child ". 1958 under the title "the girl Rosemarie was filmed "by Rolf Thiele. 1996 turned Bernd Eichinger a Remake. 2004 were the musical of the same name.
