Ronny Rieken (* 1968) killed two girls under age into the 1990er years and to a lifelong imprisonment was therefore condemned.

In the summer 1996 Rieken raped the thirteen-year old Ulrike in the Ipweger moorland with Oldenburg and strangled it afterwards. In March 1998 and raped he kidnapped the eleven-year old Christina from from the district Cloppenburg. Afterwards it strangled it with a cable and stung several times with a measurer on the dead girl in.

It left thereby traces, which finally led after a DNA Massentest to its arrest. He was country widely the first murderer, who placed itself to the acceptance of a saliva sample and thereby one transferred. This contributed substantially to the public and legal acceptance of this method.

Rieken was condemned 1998 by the regional court Oldenburg to a lifelong imprisonment. The regional court determined at the same time the special weight of the debt, which excludes a premature release from custody after 15 years. The revision inserted by Rieken against the judgement was rejected 1999 by the Federal High Court. The judgement became valid thereby.
