Roger Wolcott SPERRY (* 20 August 1913 in hard Ford, Connecticut, the USA; "† 18 April 1994 in Pasadena, California, the USA) was an US-American neuro biologist.

Roger SPERRY was born 1913 in hard Fords and buildup in west hard Ford, where he visited the west hard Ford High School. It studied assistance of a scholarship at the Oberlin college, which it completed 1935 with the BA in English, on which its master in Psychology at the same institution followed. Finally it attained a doctorate to the PhD in Zoologie of the University OF Chicago. He spent afterwards some years to the Harvard University and the Yerkes Laboratory for Primate Biology to Florida before he as a professor to the University OF Chicago returned.

From 1954 to 1984 he was a professor for Psychobiologie at the California institutes OF Technology.

For its research over Split Brain patients it was distinguished 1981 with the Nobelpreis for physiology or medicine.
