Rodney Robert Porter (* 8 October 1917 in Newton le Willows, Lancashire, England; "† 7 September 1985 in Winchester, Hampshire, England) was an English biochemist.

1967 it became Whitley professor OF Biochemistry to the Oxford University.

it received 1972 together with Gerald M. Edelman the Nobelpreis for physiology or medicine "for its discoveries concerning the chemical structure of the anti-bodies"
