The Rocamadour, also Cabecou mentioned, is a French cheese from goat milk. Its name is protected since 1996 of the Appellation d'Origine In addition this guarantees on the one hand the quality of the product and specifies the manufacture conditions.

The cheese offered in the trade has a diameter from four to five centimeters and is only up to 1.5 centimeters high. The fat content in the dry weight amounts to 45%.

In addition the Rocamadour is output product of the Picadou, an improving form, with which matured cheese is wound into sheets.
