Right male nurses are in Germany officials of the elevated law service at courts and public prosecutor's offices, which notice the tasks assigned by the right male nurse law. Most of these tasks were to be settled in former times from judges to and after the Second World War to ever larger extent to right male nurses were transferred.

Just as judges are not right male nurses in their decisions dependent on instructions of a superior and only at right and law bound ("material independence"). Contrary to judges right male nurses are not personally" independent ". Like that for example the transfer is possible to another court also without agreement of the right male nurse, if the official-legal conditions are present.

Beyond that right male nurses are concerned among other things with the following tasks:

• Execution
• Auction by order of the court
• Official administration
• Insolvency procedure
• Cost appointment
• Execution of a sentence
• Right request place
• Family things

Officials of the elevated law service, who are employed in the court administration within ranges such as management, Personalverwaltung, household, information technology and planning/organization or the like, are not active as right male nurses. As civil servants they are not independent, but bind at instructions of superiors.

Training

A condition is the attitude by an attitude authority, in most Lands of the Federal Republic the higher regional courts. Right male nurses complete a three-year study at a local professional school with occupation-practical training sections with courts and public prosecutor's offices. They have thereby the status of an official on revocation with existed examination the university degree of "diploma right male nurses (FH)" are lent.
