The Compagnie Richemont SA is a Swiss luxury goods company with seat in Geneva, which was created 1988 by the South African billionaire Anton Rupert. The main business ranges are decoration, clocks, recorders and clothing. The enterprise is the eight-largest of the Swiss Market index. Based on the conversion (2005: 4.3 billion "€) Richemont the second largest luxury goods company of the world is scarce, behind LVMH and before Pinault Printemps Redoute.

All enterprises are to 100% in the possession of Richemont, with exception of old England. In addition Richemont holds a portion of 18,6% by British American Tobacco (by 31 December 2003). The gentleman clothing Mr. Hackett, which was since 1992 in the possession of Richemont, was gate-material sold 2005 to the Spanish group of investors.
