Rice the GmbH & CO. Kg of engine works is one 1957 of walter rice created exempt private company with seat in upper castle/Bavaria. With rice Robotics are busy world-wide about 1000 coworkers (of it approx. 30% engineers) with development and system integration of robots, of it 800 at the main location.

The robots and robotic controls for cut, adding and handling, developed by rice Robotics, are integrated by the enterprise at the customer in the industriellen production.

Among the customers of the enterprise rank apart from the automobile industry increasingly the solar cell manufacturing. The enterprise built and world-wide installed so far about 11,000 robot systems.

The firm founder walter rice (* 1935 in upper castle) is acting partner of the enterprise. (Conditions: 2005)
