The city administration of Munich was incumbent on the resident of Munich municipal authorities to 1919. Two mayors managed it. From 1810 to 1818 there was a Munizipalrat after the model of the French republic.

Beside the resident of Munich municipal authorities as 1. Chamber gave it as 2. Chamber the municipality authorized persons. These two chambers were combined 1919 to the resident of Munich town councillor.
