The removal expense right of the federation is regulated in the federal removal expense law (BUKG). The BUKG is called also law over the compensation for removal expenses for the federal officials, judge in the federal service and soldier. The basic publication of the removal cost right was published in April 1964. In the version the BUKG contains the following contents of the proclamation from 13 November 1973:

From those constantly a high expenditure resulted to coming single regulations, particularly because of the removal expense refunding of other removal displays against a proof, at the time of practical execution. This applies predominantly to federal officials, who must move frequently, as e.g. with the German Federal Armed Forces and during the customs administration. In the version from November 1973 the removal expense right was again divided, i.e. some regulations were reorganized and individual regulations contained in them were systematically again arranged. In addition regulations were omitted, which were present already in similar way or exactly the same in the administrative proceedings law.

On 11 December 1990 the BUKG is as kind 1 of the law for the revised version of the BUKG, for the regulation of personnel-agency-legal terms of office, for the change of other serve-legal regulations as well as for the improvement of the personnel structure in the federal customs administration admits made and in accordance with kind 11 I of this law effective 1 July 1990 into force stepped.

General to the removal expense right

The condition for the compensation for removal expenses is a written promise. For displays (laid out money), which by a removal officially arranged at another service place or another dwelling and/or official residence develop, receive for example woman officials and an official a compensation for removal expenses.

The grant of removal expenses is based on the welfare service obligation of the service gentleman and on the cheapness.
