In addition in a refrigeration plant necessary "cold weather" is produced and supplied over isolated cooling nets to the consumers. Physically the designation "cooling supply" is naturally not correct. It is technically correct that in the case of the cooling supply surplus warmth is removed from the customer. In addition an inlet temperature in the network of approximately 6 is made available "°C. With the consumer its surplus warmth, e.g. with air conditioning, is transferred directly or indirectly to the net. The return temperature is therefore higher than the inlet temperature, about 12 "°C and more. Over refrigerant plants this surplus warmth in the refrigeration plant is again extracted from the cooling net.

Refrigerant plants are: Compression refrigerant plants, absorption refrigeration systems, adsorption refrigerant plants.
