Remington edge was an American computer manufacturer, whose most well-known computer was the UNIVAC I. There was a time, there was the word Univac alternative term for computers.

Remington edge developed 1927 from the Remington Typewriter company, the edge Kardex company, and the Powers Accounting Machine company. 1950 bought Remington edge the Eckert Mauchly computer corporation, which the two developers of the ENIAC had created 1946. 1951 were delivered the first UNIVAC I to the Federal Statistical Office of the United States. Remington edge merged 1955 with the SPERRY corporation into SPERRY edge (later only SPERRY). SPERRY and Burroughs corporation formed 1986 Unisys.

Remington edge produced also tabulating machines, electrical razors, typewriters (Remington), filing cabinets (Kardex) and during the Second World War army pistols.
