These are used in Austria since 1885. With the Nr.17 "post office and telegraph official gazette for the administrative territory k.k. Trade Ministry ""the introduction was ordered by sticking notes for recommandirte letters ".

Rekozettel are (mainly in the surrounding field of stamp collections/the Philatelie) own collecting objects. Exemplarily the association can be called "first Austrian Rekozettel Sammlerverein ".
