Refuge Kopkow (* 29 November 1910 in Ortelsburg; October 1996 in gel churches) was active, during the time of the national socialism, in the Gestapo (later in the Central Reich Security Office) within the range the counter-espionage; after 1945 in the service of the British secret service MI6.

Life until 1945

Refuge Kopkow was born as the youngest of six children in the Ortelsburg at that time (today Szczytno) in East Prussia.
