The red press correspondence (RPK) is the appearing weekly party sheet of the KPD organizational structure. In the first number the RPK delivers an establishment explanation: Why a new It is directed against the extra service and the claim to leadership of the former mirror journalist Karl l. Guggomos. The "883" is the later Gegenzeitung of the RPK of the student, pupil and workers' movement.

The red press correspondence as free and autonomous newspaper came out in the time 1968/69, after the socialist German student federation (SDS) dissolved formally and the remaining cadres in various groups collected themselves like "red March parliamentary group" or "republican assistance". It is above all a protest newspaper against authoritarian rule and neoimperialistische policy in the third world.
