Ramazzotti is an Italian (Amaro). It is produced since the year 1815 in Milan.

The secret prescription of this Halbbitters became at the beginning 19. Century of Ausano Ramazzotti in Milan develops. It covers 33 different, particularly aromatic herbs and plants. In this mixture are contained among other things sweet and bitter orange bowls, Chinarinde, Engelwurz, Kaiserwurz, rose blooms, vanilla and star anise. On the other hand Ramazzotti does not contain artificial color or flavour materials.

The alcohol content amounts to approx. 30%. He is also stomach-bitterly drunk as Digestif or. Usually it is handed with ice cubes and a small disk lemon. It can be mixed also with Ginger Ale or soda water. From adding a portion Minze results a Ramazzotti Menta mix beverage mentioned.

The trade name reads Amaro Felsina Ramazzotti. It is falsely written often Ramazotti with only one z.

Since 1985 the enterprise belongs to the French Pernod Ricard group.
