Raketa is a well-known Austrian Internet satire magazine.

Raketa was created in April 2002 as own medium project of former editors of the satire portal of the Austrian daily paper "the standard" existing to 2002.

The concept of Raketa been based on the with the Usern (called Les@s), in the center stand current text screen contributions, which can arrange and send the readers in. Under each contribution, without a registration is necessary, comments can be gepostet. Collages and picture assemblies represent the main part of contents. Besides Raketa picture columns (Cartoons, Rebus, pant man of the daily), literary columns, Kulturtipps and Weblogs leads.

Contentwise emphasis of the satire is Austrian home policy and media, which are not topics however limited to it.

Predecessor/development

Starting from 1999 appeared as Subseite of the Website of "the standard" the Internet satire portal "the yellow side". In this primarily the unserious chronicle messages ("pig drove butchers into the escape ") were offered. Separated in the autumn 2000 this side under the name "was entitled" as independent Website. Out derZustand.at developed itself then 2002 Raketa.

Law cases
