The "railway courier" is an appearing monthly technical periodical, which treats both railway and over the model railway topics. The "railway courier" becomes just as estimated thereby from hobby railroadmen and model course fans as by specialists and employees of railway companies, with which he represents the largest general technical periodical over the topic railway in Germany. The magazine appears in the internal input clutch publishing house.

History

The magazine "railway courier" was created in the year 1966 by a small group by railway fan, that among other things also the Lokomotivfotograf Carl Bellingrodt belonged. A avowed goal was it to finally develop a kind "news sheet" in which all employments were specified at that time still active motives for Federal Railroads steam locomotive. There were some hobby sheets at the time at that time already to the topic railway, but straight current reports on the course happening were often missing or were only very poor. The EK puts this very day one of its emphasis on current events of the railway.

From 1990 to 1994 appeared besides an easily changed parallel output of the EK particularly for the new Lands of the Federal Republic, in which particularly on at that time still existing German National Railroad in the GDR one reported.
