Raduga (Russian for "rainbow ") is the label name of the devices of the pc. Petersburger of television set work Sawod in. Kosizkogo ( ), as well as the designation of in former times experimental color television sets without production stage.

The devices of the mark Raduga were the first color television sets available in the GDR. They are considered as cult objects and are many still particularly because of the technical lack in memory:

• The devices were equipped of house from only with a second to decoder. West television came therefore only into black-and-white purely. A PAL decoder could be re-tooled however.
• The picture tubes had partial strong convergence errors, whereby the picture at the edges was rainbow-like divided.
• In the first minutes after switching on on the synchronisation was not stable.
• The circuit was developed with tubes, which had to be replaced occasionally. These had however a non--standard size and were with difficulty available.
• Construction dependently some Raduga televisions burned down, why into the 1980er years these devices in public mechanisms were selected and scrapped. Also the television mechanics were instructed not to repair defective devices in private households for no more. ("Housing fire from friend country")

Televisions of the mark Raduga are also today still manufactured, however to have them no longer much with the old Radugas in common.
