Those radically was on 18 June 1976 for the first time in Berlin appearing magazine, which understood itself as language pipe of the left and/or radically left-wing movement. The newspaper was in the 1980ern and 1990ern the present-strongest and probably most influential sheet of the autonomous ones. However from 1984 to 1997 against the magazine 210 preliminary investigations were led because of education of a combination of terror. The magazine was published starting from 1984 anonymous and conspiratorial.

The magazine began with an open concept and a public editorship meeting. A first preliminary investigation against the magazine began 1978 due to the casting of the forbidden Mescalero letter in that among other things "clammy-secret sympathy "for the murder at Chief Federal Prosecutor Siegfried Buback was expressed. The magazine became the language pipe of the house occupying he scene and had an edition of approximately 3,000 pieces with country wide spreading.

The editorship collective at that time described the own requirement:

Starting from 1981 numerous groups solidarized with the magazine and appeared officially as publishers. In addition among other things the group of nuclear power plants of Wedding, the initiative belonged to alternatives against the security wing up to the list Berlin or taz. 1982 began a further preliminary investigation because of advertisement for a combination of terror, since texts of the revolutionary cells in the magazine were printed. The student Michael and the journalist Benny were arrested, since they stood also on the publisher list. Concrete participation to appear to the magazine or at the publication of the texts was them however not to be proven. A broad solidarity campaign, carried among other things of the Bundestag faction of the Greens, the Kreuzberger SPD, Grass and Hans Magnus Enzensberger, formed. The two were selected 1984 for the Greens to two and a half years detention condemned, however in the European parliament, so that they did not have to begin the punishments.

Starting from 1984 those appeared radically anonymous, only over p.o. box addresses in Switzerland or the Netherlands attainable, by post office sent away copies also over the not-German foreign country was sent away. The magazine, which was at that time in fact anyway illegal, did not see a Veranlassung to adhere to the valid German laws. When largest and most well-known sheet of this kind had it therefore in particular with the autonomous inlet, since in that radically articles were published, which were not possible like that in other publications. At this time it had an edition of 6.000 copies, could however far more humans over the spreading in WGs, info. shops, political groups and the like reach. In later years the Federal Prosecutor's Office estimated the pressure edition on 4.000 to 5,000 pieces, about which a part could be seized, on the other hand one numerous copies also over in Germany made photocopies was spread.

Admits became radically particularly by the early use of the Internets. The Federal Prosecutor's Office tried to let the side gehostete in the Netherlands close, kicked loose thereby however again a broad solidarity campaign of advocates of the liberty of opinion, which was supported among other things also of the Electronic Frontier Foundation. The legal arguments around - in the meantime no more did not existente, but in many places still on-line reflected - the Website that radically dragged on still many years, after there was not the magazine for a long time any longer.

After it had become quiet several years around the autonomous underground magazine, surprisingly a new expenditure that appeared radical in the year 2004. In the summer put 2005 the new Macher with the 158.
