Quandt is the name of a German familyfamily family, which had settled around 1700 in the brandenburgischen Pritzwalk. The cloth manufacturer Emil Quandt (1849-1925) let its son Quandt (1881-1954) complete training in the textile industry. Afterwards Quandt occurred as an attorney the paternal company. 1909 he was already director/conductor of several cloth factories in his hometown.
