Pasteboard is from cellulose or waste paper by sticking and/or - manufactured material for the packaging industry or arts and crafts presses. The production-determined originally usually grey pasteboard experienced a undreamt-of upswing by the Swedish invention of the Tetrapaks in the late 50's and the various printing on and serviceability. Even furniture and emergency money were already made of pasteboard.

Of pasteboard one speaks thinner material only starting from a weight per unit area of approx. 600 g/m (approx. 1.5 mm of thickness), is called cardboard.

In addition pasteboard is an expression for LSD, since this is to 1/1000 g on a small piece of pasteboard, used with June gravel, which is eaten for use.
