POVNET is the abbreviation of the DAC network on Poverty Reduction.POVNET belongs the OECD and 1998 was based. It has the following tasks:

• the multi-dimensionality of poverty and the connection between inequality, economic growth and reduction of poverty in developing countries
• the inclusion arms in the work of growth and the advantages of growth and globalization
• Topics of the infrastructure and agriculture, the trade and the investments, the information and communication technologies, the role of the private sector and public-private partnerships
• the implementation of the MDGs of the UN

POVNET has three task teams:

• Agriculture
• Infrastructure
• private sector

POVNET continues to itself employ with:
