A pot machine serves for semiautomatic potting of plants. It consists of an earth container, which is filled with earth, a conveyor, which transports the earth to a container and which earth leads into the pots. The pots are loaded on a magazine and slip in sequence on e.g. a round system, which transports the pots to the container. After the pots were filled, with a drilling system holes for the plants are bored, the earth is supplied with fertilizer and continued to lead on a conveyor. Here stand humans or robots, who put plants into the holes. With lace machines pots per hour can be filled up to 7000.

The pot machine was invented 1967 in Heidenheim to the Brenz. The process chain in the acquisition horticulture is organized meanwhile completely and the pot machine is an important member in this row.
