Plasser & Theurer is a Austrian company with head office Vienna and calls yourselves as a world market leader for track laying machines. The parent plant is in Linz, world-wide employs the enterprise today over 3000 coworkers and supplies its products to over 100 countries.


1953 developed Plasser & Theurer with a staff of nine persons those allegedly first hydraulic Stopfmaschine of the world and set thereby the first step for the mechanization of the track construction. 1958 and 1959 were created subsidiary companies in Canada and South Africa, 1971 follow Brazil and Japan. Product range

The company manufactures mainly track laying machines.
