Since 1951 the magazine of "pictorials engine haven" appeared twice monthly with reports over engine haven events, tables, statistics, test reports, Reparaturtipps and an indicator market. The magazine was published by the presidency of the section engine haven of the GDR in the sport publishing house (1).

The enthusiasm for engine haven in the GDR was among other things that 1990 with a traffic accident deadly had an accident to running driver Ulli Melkus to owe.
