The Phrack magazine (English Phrack) is since 17 November 1985 existing underground magazine, which is spread free of charge over Internet. It treated above all topics of IT-security, chopping, Phreaking, Anarchismus and ranks, similarly as the 2600-Magazin, among the most important magazines of the hacker scene. It was the first magazine, which was spread only electronically.

In the summer 2005 the message was spread that the Phrack magazine with the expenditure 63 should be adjusted. This "last" expenditure appeared on 29 July for the first time as printed booklet, which free of charge on the hacker meetings What The chop and DEF CON was distributed. According to data in the Editorial of this expenditure it does not concern however the definitely last expenditure. The magazine is to be continued by a new team, a new expenditure is announced for 2006 or 2007.
