Peter Weise (* 1941 in Georgenthal (Thuringia)) is a German economist.

Way studied political economy at the University of Goettingen from 1962 to 1966 and acquired so the title diploma political economist. it was attained a doctorate to 1971 in Goettingen to the Dr. rer. pole. It remained until 1976 as an assistant of the economical seminar in Goettingen and acquired then a Professur at the University of Paderborn (at that time still comprehensive university Paderborn). it changed 1982 to the University of Kassel (at that time still university University of Kassel). There he was selected 1991-92 to the Dekan of the specialist area economic science.
