The 1969 created PERI GmbH is one the world-wide largest manufacturer and offerer of formworks and stands. Beside the parent plant in white horn with Ulm 42 foreign companies and 70 stock level places are operated. The enterprise has 4,000 coworkers world-wide, of it is over 700 engineers (conditions: 2005). 2005 gained PERI a conversion of approx. 760 millions euro.

History

PERI was created 1969 by Artur in white horn with Ulm. The first product was the wood truss boom T 70 V with high load-carrying capacity and a patented knot glueing. 1984 were replaced to these by the GT 24. With the ACS (AUTOMATIC Climbing system) PERI set a milestone in the self climbing technology. Thus high buildings without crane are geschalt. 1980 made the material aluminum buildable for PERI. Initial skepticism on the building sites yielded soon the realization the fact that 20% bring during the ceiling boarding a large easement to weight savings since after concreting must be ausgeschalt by hand.

In the last 10 years the conversion of the PERI group of 250 rose to over 760 millions "€, the number of employees increased from 1.700 to 4.000.

Program summary

To the products belong service girder, framing and wall formworks, column formworks, ceiling boardings, climbing scaffolds, stage systems, self climbing formworks, support frames, ceiling supports, arranging supports, formwork boards, supports for concreting, anchoring systems as well as services, software and training courses.

To the projects built with PERI system approaches belong:

  • Denmark - formwork machine for monolithic tunnel
  • Viaduc de Millau, France - highest of the world with up to 245 m height
  • Mercedes Benz world
  • Mega Bridge, Bangkok, Thailand - 4 with 170 m height
  • Turning Torso, Sweden - verwundenes multistoried building of the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava
  • Torre Agbar, Barcelona, Spain - 142 m high multistoried building
