The PCtipp is usually sold and usually read Swiss PC magazine. As PCtip it appeared for the first time 1994 later as IT-supplement of the inhabitants of zurich daily paper daily indicator in co-operation with the IT-specialized publishing house IDG - first of all per quarter, 10 times per year. Still the PCtipp does consciously without the otherwise usual art paper of the computer magazines; the monthly magazine is printed on usual newsprint for instance in the DIN-A4-Format. The contributions are practice-oriented, as target audience the somewhat more fastidious "petrol normal user" are addressed.

In the center of the contributions Tipps are located for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and further Windows software; in addition, Apple Macintosh and Linux are considered. Besides there are Tipps and cheat approximately around Internet, E-Mail and digital photography. Numerous product new conceptions, product test and purchase assistance round the booklet off.

Apart from the practice proximity and the attractive selling price the reader service of this magazine is particularly worth mentioning.
