Paul Eduard of Bruns (* 2. July 1846 in "† 2 June 1916 ebenda) was the son of the surgeon and medicine professor Viktor von Bruns. He became even likewise a surgeon and 1882 professor at the University of

Bruns' principal interest applied for the laryngeal and member mass surgery, the latter in connection with the war surgery (Amputationen). 1885 it justified the "contributions to the clinical surgery".

Paul Eduard von Bruns was married since 1877 with Marie of (1847-1941), the daughter of Karl Heinrich and sister of the later Prime Minister Karl von The pair had two sons.
