Panikonographie or Gillotage one calls a procedure invented of Gillot in Paris 1850, in order to make by means of corrosion high pressure plates of zinc for the printing press. With this procedure the in such a way specified takes place photo-mechanically whereby the design-free places chemically or electrolytically to be deepened.
