A package is the special name of the German post office for a small package, which is not heavier than two kilograms and lies in the context of special mindest and maxima. It is to be freed and be named the label package.

Plus package

Plus packages consist of packing (luggage set of the German post office) as well as postage (motive money token) and may not the gross weight of 20 kilograms with the dispatch within Germany not exceed. With the dispatch outside of Germany the gross weight amounts to only 2 kilograms, but an addition for the transport is already contained by air mail in the payment.

Adhesion & transmission pursuit

With loss of packages or plus packages the German post office does not take over adhesion. Also a transmission pursuit is not possible for the sender and/or for the receiver. It is however possible to place an investigation request.
