Otto (* 24. March 1917 in Vienna; "† 3 November 1995 in Vienna) was a Austrian politician.

Otto studied Vienna and Graz jurisprudence and philosophy at the universities and was then active as an employee. it joined 1938 the NSDAP.

It began its political career in the socialist youth organizations. It was then from 1951 to 1953 member of the Austrian Upper House of Parliament, from 1953 to 1959 of delegates to the federal state parliament, from 1959 to 1966 undersecretary of state in the Federal Ministry for national defense, from 1966 to 1970 member of the federal state government and from 1971 to 1983 delegate to the Austrian national council. With beginning of the era Bruno Kreisky came again into the Austrian Federal Government. was from four former NSDAP members in Kreiskys first cabinet. He was from 1970 to 1977 Ministers of the Interior and from 1977 to 1983 Federal Minister for national defense. For the conclusion it served its political career from 1983 to 1991 as a president of the Pensionistenverbandes Austria.
