Otto Wolff of Amerongen (* 6 August 1918 in Cologne) is considered as one of the most influential entrepreneurs in the Germany of the post-war period. he took over 1940 from its father Otto Wolff the petrol Wolff company. 1990 were sold the entire company with its to approximately 200 participation and 30,000 coworkers after continuous crisis and partial sales to the ThyssenKrupp AG.

It is proven by appropriate notes in documents of the US postwar crew and the Russian KGB that the petrol Wolff company under its guidance procured and on the stock exchanges e.g. in Switzerland set among other things Jewish property until 1945 in the form of shares, gold and other values for the national socialists and their war financing.

Despite its past Otto Wolff of Amerongen from 1969 was to 1988 president of the German industrie and commercial daily and is also today still in numerous organizations honorary president, like e.g. the Cologne IHK, the German industrie and Chamber of Commerce daily, the German olympic society, the German society for foreign policy or also the federation of the German economy in the Russian federation.
