Otto Steinbrinck (* 19 December 1888 in Lippstadt, "† 16 August 1949 in Landsberg at the Lech) was Industrieller and accused in the repairing process.

The son of a teacher was starting from 1907 career soldier at the navy, and did since 1911 service on several submarines. In the First World War Steinbrinck belonged to one of the most successful commanders of submarine; 1916 it was distinguished with the Pour le 1919 - which was world war for Germany lost - one could find no more use for him however in the newly formed realm resistance. It became in the rank of a captain second lieutenant to dismiss.

First Steinbrinck functioned as a managing director of the federation of German iron and steel stahlindustrieller, until he found 1924 in the repairing company a new employment, where it became already 1925 first coworker in Friedrich Flicks private secretariat, and later up to the vice-president ascended. Also Steinbrinck worked as a member of the board in numerous companies.

In May 1933 it occurred the NSDAP, and became soon thereafter banner leader in the SS, where it became in April 1935 Soon thereafter it was member in the so-called friend circle realm leader SS, whose leader was William Keppler.

Between 1937 and 1939 Steinbrinck functioned as a plenipotentiary for the repairing company.

Additionally it could exercise different functions. Thus it became starting from April 1938 military industrial leaders and starting from January 1939

In the summer 1939 it separated from the repairing company and functioned starting from the December of the same yearly as a trustee of the Thyssen fortune. It had been re-activated briefly before as a commander.

By May 1940 until March 1942 Steinbrinck worked as a plenipotentiary for the steel industry in Luxembourg, Belgium and France, and functioned in April 1941 as a coworker in the presidency of the realm combination coal.

By March 1942 up to evacuation of the western crew areas in the autumn 1944 was Steinbrinck also plenipotentiary of the realm combination coal for the mining industry and the coal economy in Holland, Belgium and France, the so-called Beko (command command) west.

In the April 1945 - which was war long lost - Steinbrinck operated as a contact man between the Ruhr industry and the army group B under general field marshal Walter Model.

In August 1945 Steinbrinck was arrested by the Americans and accused in Nuremberg during the so-called "repairing process". On 22 December 1947 he was condemned to 5 years detention. Briefly before beginning of the general pardon wave Steinbrinck in the detention died.

As a highly decorated career soldier of the First World War Steinbrinck made an amazing career in the industry for the 20's. Over the friend circle RFSS he could develop the relations with guidance circles of the third realm fruitfully. Steinbrincks prominent position within the repairing company and its role during the inclusion of the bills and the heavy industry in the occupied Western European countries into the German wartime economy brought him finally before court.
