Emil Otto rapid (* 7 December 1891 in Friedrichsruh; "† 1 November 1948 in Nuremberg) was 1941 as and a commander of the group of employments of C responsible for the mass murder at Ukrainian civilians.

Life

Study

Rapidly law, political economics and philosophy at different universities studied. It attained a doctorate in jurisprudence and political economics. It received its first Doktortiel in Marburg 1912 for "dialect geography of the circle Eschwege".

For "housing market and housing policy in England in the war - and post-war period" it got 1922 in Leipzig its second doctor title.

Career

During the First World War it was at the navy, which it left as a second lieutenant. As an attorney it practiced ten years in Leipzig. In this time it was active as Justitiar for several enterprises.

In September 1931 it became member of the NSDAP. it joined 1933 the SS. After the seizure of power of the national socialists rapid was used successively as mayor in Radeberg and a mayor in the Luther city Wittenberg. Its time as mayors of the Luther city Wittenberg was not extended, because doubtful costs emerged with the building of its service mansion. Therein the cause will have supposed to be seen that rapid did not continue to continue its local-political career and it took up a service career in the numbers of the SS of security agency.

1938 he became director/conductor of the Stapo in Frankfurt A.M., afterwards held he a similar function in upper Austria.

At the beginning of of 1939 it became SD boss in Prague afterwards boss of the SD and the state police (Sipo) in king mountain.

War crime in the Second World War

Rapidly Gleiwitz was involved in 31 August 1939 considerably in the fictitious assault on the transmitter. It led the assault on the forestry house Piet.

In January/February 1940 by rapid, in agreement with Heydrich the "transit camp" Soldau (Dzialdowo) was created. According to a later statement Raschs "particularly for the purpose to cause the necessarily becoming liquidations inconspicuously". Approximately 600 prisoners were murdered there.

After its "probation" with the mass murder rapid turned director the continental oil (Continental oil) back to the desk and became, in the time of 1942-45.

After 1945

After the end of war rapid was arrested. During the process of group of employments it got sick with the Parkinson illness and separated on 5 February 1948 because of illness from the procedure. Rapidly died on 1 November 1948.
