Ossietzky is a pazifistische two-weekly revue for politics, culture and economics, appearing in Berlin. It is published under the cooperation by Daniela Dahn, George Dietrich Kittner and Peter Turrini von Rolf Ulla Jelpke, Arno Otto charcoal burner and kind of hitting a corner Spoo. The magazine is designated after the Nobel peace prize carrier and former publisher of the world stage, Carl von Ossietzky.

The magazine follows contentwise and from its opening closely the model from the Weimar Republic. When the publishers announced the appearance of the magazine in September 1997, was even assumed the sheet would carry the name world stage. According to data Spoos had assured the former publisher and editor-in-chief until 1993 of the world stage, Helmut Reinhardt, appeared in east Berlin, to the Ossietzky publishers the fact that he possessed the title rights at the name and it to the new project would leave. After the reestablishment of the world stage had been announced, however from several sides legal objections were raised against the title use. Among other things of Peter Jacobsohn, the son of the world stage founder Siegfried Jacobsohn living in the USA. The publishers did to in-permit itself into legal arguments and modified the name of the magazine in Ossietzky.

First the magazine appeared in Hanover, in the year 2000 shifted it their editorship seat to Berlin.
