The term inland misalignment or English Onshoring designates the paging of parts of production within the country of origin, usually close with the client. In particular big customers insist frequently on the spatial proximity.

As example one can consult an autofactory such as Smart (car) in Hambach, the parts for their car e.g. Doors, paint work or whole components of another company, supplier, refers, which is at the same firm area. The proximity to the customer represents thereby a strategic advantage.
