Car:

A 44, which cuts through the park from northwest to southeast diagonally, can be left at the connection points Breuna, Zierenberg (B 251) and Kassel William height (B 520). Beside the federal highways 251 and 520, within the park in west east direction run, also B 450 lead by its area.

Railway:

From the Kasseler main station and across the station Kassel Harleshausen leads a railroad line into the northern park area for example to the critical points Ahnatal, Zierenberg and Wolfhagen.

In Kassel also 33.4 km begin long railroad line of the Kassel Naumburger railway, on whatever today still the Hessencourrier (called in the vernacular Naumburger Kleinbahn) operates, a museum railway from the station the William height over Baunatal into the southern nature park Habichtswald lead.
