In Canada there are numerous of national park, which are administered by the government authority park Canada.

1885 were already placed by the Canadian government country for public parks ready, the Banff national park became later made of which. Similarly as in the United States from America the parks were originally created for recovery and for the pleasure of the population. 1930 issued the parliament with that national to park act a regulation, in order to place the areas under protection.

For the inspection (and if necessary to the Campen) within ranges the national park released for the nature tourism one particularly needs a ticket (Permit), which can be acquired for daily trips or for a whole year (national passport).

With Reserves in Canada of national park are marked, in which the natives may hunt and fish.

Provincial park in Canada

In addition there are several hundred Provincial in Canada parks (in the province Quebec as parc national designates). These have often a size and equipment, which equal that the national park (e.g. Wells Grey park in British Columbia), partially are it in addition, smaller, particularly protect-worth areas. Partly these province parks have also camping sites, frequently areas for daily use. The administration of the province parks lies in the hand of the respective Canadian province government.
